First considerations

My idea has interested all the category of the transports sector (conveyors, constructors) and other persons, than recognized it like a useful innovation for their direct and indirect experiences. All however have understood that the risk exists and resolutive provisions mast be made in order to improve the security conditions. In fact after my presence at TTS 05 of Parma last February, from some time several possibilities are being opened for me in order to carry out what until now are remained in theory.

In the meantime I continue thorough examination on this subject. In fact I have had occasions to speak with some truckdrivers, which often use the hydraulic tail lift of their trucks, for operations of loading and unloading merchandise in the towns. They always have fear everytime they maneuver the tail lift that an accident can happen. For example it usuallly happens, when it is in position of ramp, that is when the cone signaler placed on the external angle of this comes crushed from the cars. Or when someone or something can go against it, especially with the cargo tail lift place horizontally. Other fear is that some person, or vehicles etc., can remain under it when it is maneuvered. Similar problematics are when Breakdown vans, where the risk is higher, because they always threateningly expose the cargo tail lift: that is when they are in motion, as well as the operations that they execute when their in halt. In particular it must be considered the exposure to the risks of the assigned staff, as for the trucks as the Breakdown van, when they are occupied in the recovery operations, unloading, etc. With the aid of a right signal of the vehicles volume and of an effectiveness protection of the protruding parts of the vehicle, the conditions of security in case of direct accidents are improved (maneuverability of the equipments, of loading, aid operations), but also indirect like (crashes, etc). The operator could also be crushed between his vehicle and the vehicle that has crashed him. This is the reason to protect the protruding and or cutting parts of the vehicles, in order to attenuate the consequences, that differently (like it always happens) is by far greater!

These testimonies denote a strong requirement the operating people, in trying to limit the dangers, already widly described in other sections of this web- site. All this has become custom even if not regulationed from the Road Code. This felt necessity, requires a timely and suitable answer, to the aim of the attainment of my objective and above all of the UE. It can be said that there is a demand from part of the direct interested, to the resolution of these problems even if not explicit, just adapting to occasional remedies, (see picture). At the same time in answer to these requirements from operators and the manifactures exist the engagement for the attainment of the drastic reduction of the road accidents, from the UE, also like the other Countries of the World. Such target will be reached also by acting on the new technologies, as active and as passive vehicles of transport.

Between these two aspects, my solution is found, which would succeed to totally satisfy at the same time the two objects.

Therefore I am trying in international level, companies that like my idea, in order to carry it out and put it on the world-wide market, beginning to make it already reality and introducing it also to Transpotec 2006 of Milan, where I really want to be!
