Utility of the Tetra, to better evidence the posterior edge of the cargo tail lift, but above all to protect it in case of collision.

To imagine the present situation also in extreme conditions (poor visibility and or slippery bottom) elevating therefore the risk.

In the city these operations are frequent. To notice the lack of signalling and protection of the hydraulic tail lift of the truck. The two corners of the back side of cargo tail lift threaten the operator who for a disattention could hit against it. The motorcyclist could bang directly with the corner because of a wrong valutation of the obstacle, but also indirectly if it became collisioned, remaining crushed between truck and car. Also in the same way the operator is at risk of being run over, in particular his head!

Beyond the dangers described in other photos and in the section utility and function, for this particular situation of the truck, notice also the bottom of the tail lift that in this case acts as back vertical bulkhead of the entire one caisson. In fact the visual signals are not sufficient, especially the small white-red plastic flags are rather dirty and deteriotated. One of the components of my device is surely more visible and more effective!

Dangerous maneuvers in the city centers. The sharp corners and edges lie always in wait. Involvement in a dangerous situation, like a crush from another vehicle for various causes, not only for road drivers, but also for the staff assigned to the rescue, with serious consequences. Therefore lacks a first sign on the road and a sign on the rescue-vehicle, beyond that a protection on the exposed sides of the cargo tail lift!

Is there not another way to signal the presence of the freight elevator sides? Imagine the consequences. Observe under the tail lift the small plastic flags, practically hidden and crushed without any useful function. Whilst those of my device would have greater utility.

Daily operations and risks. Classic situation described in the section of the site utility and operation, where the various positions that the cargo ramp assumes in these cases can be noticed. You can notice the necessity to signal it in some way, through the cone signaler, but with the total absence of protection or thinking to protect the left corner of this, even with sell’otape, (as I have been able to see in some occasions). This is the same condition from which I got my idea. Some possible scenes that can be presented are: a) run over of the staff or the transported merchandise because of a collision in the back of the truck from part of vehicles, motorcycles, as a result of poor visibility, slippery bottom or for distraction; b) accidental fall of the staff or transported merchandise, constituting danger in the immediate vicinities; c) car that goes with it’s front bonnet under the truck’s mobile tail lift, with the danger that the tail lift goes inside the car; d) from these pictures you can very well see how the tail lift assumes the function of a sharp blade or its external corner acts as a canopener, ready to leave its sign on the pedestrians, motorcyclists, vehicles, etc.

In the north of Europe and precisely in Germany, they are in sintony with my idea in reference to the dangerousness of the cargo tail lift in its immediate vicinities, seeing they invite you to stay at a right distance. But it’s not enough! We must go beyond!

Cocktail of risk. Breakdown van plus truck: obvious lack of signalling and protection of the two cargo tail lift, thath in this precise moment, after a crash for various causes of one or both vehicles, from part of one or more vehicles, the drivers would have the worst remaining trapped between the crashing vehicle and the blade of the cargo tail lift. Truly threatening these “naked” mobile tail lift working at heights that interest persons and vehicles, with lots of scenes that could take place with lots of consequences. Observing the heights from the ground and the extension of the transverse axis, that supplies the idea of the precise point of the probable impact.

Not only in the extraurban roads or motorways, but also in the city centers it is decidedly necessary a blinking signal and a protection of the back edge of the cargo tail lift.

As is evidencied in the photo, this vehicle is equipped with block of lights of the caisson, in order to give a better idea of the volume of the vehicle to who follows it, in nocturnal conditions or of poor visibility, but it is also supplied with a protection at the base of the caisson. So to signal the cargo tail lift, with blinking lights and phosphorescent signals, and also with shockproof border protection is the right road to follow!
